KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM)– One person is in custody after a robbery on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Rose Street south of East Paterson Street.
After the victim provided a description of the suspect, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers launched K9 Nero where they caught the robber several houses away attempting to conceal evidence.
The suspect, a 42-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was arrested for unarmed robbery and taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
The stolen property was recovered and the victim was not injured during the robbery.
