MARSHALL (WKZO AM/FM) – A Calhoun County deputy has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation of the arrest of a man who was collecting signatures in a Springfield neighborhood.
WWMT and MLive have reported that the deputy arrested the man on January 2nd as he was collecting signatures for a tenant’s association.
The arrest was caught on a Ring camera.
The deputy arrested La’ron Marshall on charges of soliciting without a permit.
The department has said that the charges against Marshall will be dropped.
