Governor Whitmer says she doesn’t know what’s next after term ends

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The second and final term for Governor Gretchen Whitmer will expire on January 1st, and she says she does not know what she’s going to do next.

She says she knows no one believes that, but says it would be wrong to test the job market until her time running the state is over.

Whitmer says she doesn’t want to do anything that could raise any sort of conflict.

She has said several times in the past few years she is not interested in running for President, but adds she knows she’s “not good at being idle.”
