CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A violent crash early Sunday morning crash in Cass County resulted in only minor injuries.
Deputies say that it appears that 19-year-old Ashey Coats from Granger Indiana was south bound on Wickett Road when she lost control on the slick pavement at about 3:10 am as she approached Dewey Lake Street.
Her vehicle left the pavement, struck a tree, and rolled over.
She was transported by Pride Care to Borgess Lee in Dowagiac for treatment.
Deputies say that airbags deployed and seatbelts were worn and that may have prevented more severe injuries.
