KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo School Board may consider whether to put a $97-million bond issue on the May ballot tonight.
The money would be used to upgrade classroom technology, make school repairs, replace aging facilities and school buses.
The recommendation comes from a broad-based community bond committee that looked at the District’s needs, reviewed what a survey said voters were most likely to support, and then presented their recommendation to the Superintendent.
The Board meeting begins at 7 pm at the Administration Building on Howard Street.
