GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Northbound US-131 has reopened in Grand Rapids after a semi crash near Ann Street just before noon Wednesday shut it down until 3 p.m.
Michigan State Police say the semi slammed into the back of a flatbed truck loaded with scaffolding, causing it to flip on a side and crash into a third vehicle in an adjacent lane.
The semi driver is a 60-year-old from Oscoda and has been hospitalized with what Walker firefighters say are severe injuries.
