ALLEGAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 57-year-old Martin man will spend the next 13-and-a-half-years in prison after he pled no contest to second-degree murder in the drunk driving crash last April that killed eight-month-old Lucia Seifried.
Terry Boss hit the girl and her father, Matthew, who needed six months of physical therapy.
Boss had charges of operating while intoxicated causing death and reckless driving causing death dropped in exchange for pleading guilty to the murder charge.
Parents Rebecca and Matthew Seifried told him at the sentencing yesterday that they forgive him and add their faith has played an important role for them.
