BRONSON (WKZO AM/FM) — A Coldwater man is dead and two others injured after a violent three-vehicle collision Friday Afternoon along U.S. 12 near Bronson.
64-year-old Jeffrey Jonas was stopped to make a left turn when his Ford Fiesta was rear-ended by a man in a Ford Expedition driven by a 41-year-old man from Bronson and shoved across the centerline into the path of a Ford pickup that hit his compact car broadside.
Jonas did not survive the two collisions and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two drivers were taken to Promedica Regional Hospital in Coldwater for treatment. Charges may result following an investigation.
