KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Officials with the city of Kalamazoo Public Services are issuing a boil water advisory for residents living in the Kendall Avenue area.
Water infrastructure repair began around 8am Monday morning, and as a precaution drinking water should be boiled as officials await sampling results.
The affected area is on both sides of Kendall Avenue, on the northern boundary of Santos Street and the southern boundary of Howard Street with many townhomes and apartments affected.
The city expects the advisory will be lifted within 72 hours.
