PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Pennfield Township man is in the Calhoun County Jail on domestic violence charges.
The sheriff’s office arrested him Saturday at a home in the 10000 block of Brown Road after they got a call about the assault from a woman in the home. She also told deputies he held her against her will and had several guns in the home.
The Calhoun County Special Response Team responded, but he refused to comply with their orders to surrender peacefuly, including the use of chemical munitions.
Deputies then entered the home and took the man into custody without any incidents.
He is facing several charges including resisting and obstructing, unlawful imprisonment, and domestic violence. No names have been released.
