KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – If you plan to attend tonight’s basketball game between Loy Norrix and Kalamazoo Central high schools, you may want to buy tickets in advance or arrive early.
Both teams are winning this year and they had to turn away fans at their first meeting of the season a few weeks ago at Loy Norrix.
The rematch begins at Kalamazoo Central at 7 p.m., but Superintendent Darrin Slade says they may not have seats for everyone.
Kalamazoo Central is 16-2 this season, Loy Norrix is 14-6, and their games are a hot ticket. The gym’s capacity is only 2,500.
It’s a rivalry game, and Dr. Slade says he wants all the students to show good sportsmanship.
For adults, bad behavior could result in being banned from school properties.
You can get tickets online or by phone.
