SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan Lottery says a Van Buren County man has claimed a $300,000 prize from playing the Safe Cracker Cashword instant game.
The man chose to stay anonymous when he picked up his prize.
The ticket was purchased at the Shell gas station in the 400 block of Broadway Street in South Haven, and the man says he will save his winnings.
The 46-year-old says he checked his ticket four times to be sure he had won the jackpot, and had his wife also look it over to confirm.
The Michigan Lottery says players have won over $31 million playing the Safe Cracker Cashword instant game since it launched in December 2024, and each ticket costs $5.
