KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Hundreds braved the cold Saturday to sample chili at over 20 locations during the 21st Annual Downtown Kalamazoo Chili Cook-Off.
The People’s Choice award went to Factory Coffee. They also won that award in 2025.
The Judge’s Choice was won by ROCA Kalamazoo, with the Best Vegan Chili award going to Crafted Copper, Hub Tavern was named Best Restaurant, and the Best retail award went to The Spirit of Kalamazoo, who teamed up with Kalamazoo Public Schools.
That award recognizes the collaboration between local retail/service businesses and chefs to create a chili that truly stands out.
