TROY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Republican businessman Perry Johnson is running for governor again in 2026.
He made the announcement in Troy yesterday, saying families and small businesses “deserve a government that works as hard as they do.”
Johnson ran for the Republican nomination for governor in 2022, but was one of five candidates who were accused of using fraudulent ballot petition signatures and was not on the primary ballot.
He also launched a six-month bid for President in March 2023.
