KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — As the clean up stage continues after record flooding in Kalamazoo, some local organizations are pitching in to help.
Recycling center Schupan & Sons is teaming up with Best Way Disposal to offer clean up relief to the Lakewood neighborhood.
Schupan & Sons will be collecting damaged household items at no cost to the community with proof that they live in the pick up locations.
Homeowners can drop off items at the roll-off containers on Olmstead Road at the corner of Olmstead and the business loop all week.
In addition, from 8am until noon Monday a Schupan truck will be driving through the Lakewood neighborhood to help residents transport damaged possessions to the Olmstead dumpster.
