KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Astronomical Society is holding a remote viewing session of the KAS Remote Telescope next month.
A spokesperson for the KAS, Joe Comiskey, says that participants will be able to see deep-space objects via the telescope’s cameras in the comfort of their homes via their computers, tablets, or phones, and that once the event, set for Saturday, February 6th, from 9-11 pm, is completed, they will have the chance to download the images from the event.
Comiskey says that the event is free of charge, but registration is necessary.
Those interested in taking part should go to www.kasonline.org.
