DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan drivers are paying 15¢ more per gallon to fill the gas tank than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average price is now $2.96, up 18¢ from last month and 19¢ less than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $44 on average across the state.
Michigan’s highest price is in Ann Arbor at $3.03, and Traverse City has the lowest price in Michigan at $2.68.
In southwest Michigan, Cass County has the lowest average price at $2.87, followed by Allegan and Van Buren counties at $2.95, Berrien County at $2.97, Calhoun County at $2.99, Kalamazoo County at $3.01, St. Joseph County at $3.06, and Barry County at $3.09.
