ADRIAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s new license plates honoring the country’s 250th anniversary will be on the bumpers of cars very soon.
Inmates at Gus Harrison Correctional Facility in Adrian have started production of the red, white, and blue plates.
The license plates have been produced at that prison since 1943 and the facility produces every Michigan license plate used since then.
Over 2,500 drivers have already placed an order for the 250th anniversary plate.
