ALLEGAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Streets in downtown Allegan will be upgraded in a $3.6-million project.
The work is the second phase of their development plan and will include Chestnut and Walnut streets.
The city will replace water and sewer mains, bury overhead lines under new pavement in the road, and will fix sidewalks.
The downtown work will start in late March and an $8-million project to replace the roads in the Rossman Park Neighborhood will start shortly after that.
