KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo man may be formally charged Monday with felonious assault and fleeing the scene of an accident after an alleged road rage incident in Kalamazoo just before 9am Sunday.
A motorist told police that the suspect pointed a gun at them and intentionally rammed their vehicle before speeding away.
Investigating officers got a good description of the vehicle and traced it to an address in the 800 block of Normal Court.
They found the vehicle parked in front of a home and determined there was a 21-year-old man and a 20 year old woman inside.
The Metro SWAT team was deployed and they obtained and executed a search warrant. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the County Jail.
It remains under investigation and more charges may be filed.
