LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is asking Attorney General Dana Nessel to weigh in on the $645-million in cuts to non-statutory work projects from the state House.
Whitmer says her administration is still reviewing the decision by the Republican-controlled House this month.
The House Appropriations Committee denied the projects, upsetting the governor.
Whitmer says many of the projects impacted by the cuts “are already underway and directly impact Michiganders’ ability to access good-paying jobs, quality, affordable health care, public safety services, reliable infrastructure, and other critical services.”

Why do republican just take from the people and lie like they are saving and the only fraud is the republican party
How much money has the State of Michigan spent buying up land for projects that never hatched ? Just more waste being proposed by entitled wealthy Democrats – good luck running for President in 2028 with your pathetic record ……..
Why doesn’t the Governor and the attorney general check into helping renters we just had a 450.00 dollars increase in our rent here in south lyon, the company owned the place for 2 months. Not sure if it is true or not but I have heard that there was a bill introduced at one time but it was shot down just as fast a #$#$# goes through a goose, my opinion is that most of the people in Lansing own rentals.
Fantastic work Rep. Matt Hall!!!!! Thank you!!!
Is she gone yet? We’ve seen how her shenanigans have provided for her above claims. In fact, her policies have done just the opposite and Michigan continues to experience an exodus. Wake up people. Whitmer, Nessel and Benson and all their whiny little followers all need to go. I’d love to see them help accountable for the Covid scams/nursing home deaths, the unemployment scams, (millions missing in unemployment during Covid), voter violations in 2020, EV battery scam….millions. the list goes on.
Private funding, grassroots or community activism… You cannot fight City Hall…
