Battle Creek water main break forces temporary street closures

 BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – City water crews are on-site in the Lincoln Hill Drive area today,  working to repair a water main break that has forced road closures and local service interruptions.

The repair work, which began early this morning, has resulted in a temporary road closure on Lincoln Hill Drive, between South Hills Drive and Eastway Place.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes while crews remain on the scene.

In addition to the traffic impacts, the City of Battle Creek confirmed that several residences are experiencing temporary water shut offs.  The affected addresses include:

City officials anticipate that repairs will be finished and both water service and road access will be fully restored by the end of the day.
