KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A 31-year-old from Kalamazoo is recovering from multiple serious injuries after he rolled his SUV several times in the eastbound lane of I-94.
Witnesses say he was traveling at a high rate of speed just before 2:30 pm when the vehicle left the road, dug a tire into the ground and began to flip.
It came to rest on its side on the Sprinkle Road off ramp. Rescue crews had to cut and pry the driver out of the wreckage.
He was admitted to Bronson Hospital for treatment.
