WASHINGTON, DC (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Congresswoman Haley Stevens has filed articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
She calls Kennedy “the biggest self-created threat to our health and safety.”
In a video statement, Stevens says he “has turned his back on science and public health and on the American people.”
She also accuses RFK Jr. of dismantling decades of medical research and says he has some responsibility for rising health care costs.
Stevens has called for his removal since he became HHS secretary, but the measure is not expected to pass in the Republican-controlled U.S. House.
Stevens is running for the U.S. Senate in 2026 to succeed the retiring Gary Peters.
