LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph Sheriff’s Office believes a series of recent break-ins may be related, and is now seeking public assistance.
In a statement released Monday, the department said that there have been several break-ins in the Tamarac Subdivision of Lockport Township.
Deputies were previously dispatched to Eagle Drive for a report of breaking and entering to an outbuilding, as well as Falcon Court for a larceny from a vehicle. Officials believe the incidents are related and occurred on the night of December 26.
The department is now advising citizens to keep valuable items secured and to lock vehicles, residences and outbuildings.
Anyone with information about these cases is asked to contact the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s office or the St. Joseph County Central Dispatch.
