KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The barrels and temporary barriers are now gone from US-131 north and southbound in Kalamazoo.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says the three-year, $24-million project to rebuild the bridges over KL Avenue and the Amtrak line has wrapped up.
Work to rebuild KL Avenue under the overpasses will continue until the end of June.
MDOT says brief lane closures on US-131 in the area are still possible in the next few weeks.
