KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Bronson Health and United Healthcare have reached a deal to extend in-network coverage through January 2026.
The negotiations for a long-term deal are still progressing.
UHC told about 30,000 residents who have them for health insurance that Bronson would be considered “out of network” at the end of December about two months ago.
Bronson is the largest health system in Kalamazoo County, and UHC customers would have to find a different hospital system if a deal can’t be reached.
