CADILLAC, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An arraignment could take place as early as today for a mother and stepfather who were arrested in connection with the disappearance and death of their pregnant daughter in northwest Michigan.
No charges had been filed as of late Monday afternoon, according to Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey.
The two suspects were arrested Sunday night by Wexford County Sheriff’s deputies less than a week after the body of Rebecca Park was found in the Manistee National Forest.
Authorities say Park’s baby was not with her when she was found.
Park’s fiance and sister have also been arrested and face charges of tampering with evidence and lying to investigators.
