KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With a number of street projects planned for 2026, the City of Kalamazoo is hosting another community open house to explain the work.
The Edison Neighborhood Association is hosting the open house Tuesday, December 2 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at their location at 816 Washington Avenue.
The planned improvements are along Cork Street (Westnedge–Portage), Lovers Lane (Foley–Portage), and Portage Street (Cork–Stockbridge).
City officials say the work will improve safety, extend pavement life, and create more comfortable, connected streets for all users.
A similar open house was held in the Milwood neighborhood earlier this month.
