KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Kalamazoo has issued a warning for drivers headed through the Southtown area to watch for flooding, and to heed “Road Closed” barricades.
Deputy City Manager Jeff Chamberlain says the City is receiving large amounts of rain and closely watching the impact on Axtell Creek and the Kalamazoo River, and whether water slops over onto Park, Portage Street, Crosstown Parkway and Rose Street.
There have been no reports of any problems so far.
