KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Highs are expected to be in the 50s today and tomorrow in west Michigan, but the weather could be an issue this Thanksgiving with a cold wave and lake effect snow moving in late Wednesday.
Families won’t have school or the weather to worry about if they leave a day early.

The airlines say that the recent government shutdown did create staff shortages and disruptions, but they hope to have them cleared up in time for Thanksgiving travel, despite an anticipated increase in flyers this year.
The estimate is 81.8 million Americans plan to travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving weekend.
