KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There has been another bank robbery at the Huntington Bank Branch in the 4300 block of West Main, and the robbers are in custody.
Kalamazoo Public Safety are still on the scene. While they have blocked the entrances to the bank, the investigation has not impeded traffic on West Main.
Two suspects entered the bank and demanded cash, and fled on foot heading north.
Public Safety deployed K-9 trackers which tracked the robbers to Frays Park in the Westwood Neighborhood.
The two robbers made a run for it when they saw the officers but they were eventually cornered and taken into custody. Evidence from the robbery was in their possession.
No suspect information is being released at this time, and will probably be withheld untilthey are arraigned and bond is set.
