LANSING, MI — The Capital Area Salvation Army is hosting a sit-down community Thanksgiving meal next week. They invite friends and neighbors, those in need and those who are lonely to come together to break bread, eat turkey; give thanks, and share warm smiles on Tuesday, November 25, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. The luncheon will be held at its facility at 525 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Use the gym entrance located off Linden Grove Ave, in Lansing.
“Even in our ever-changing days of uncertainty, there are always things to be thankful for. Come and join us in sharing those stories over a hot meal as our community family,” the organization said in a press release.
The community is invited to come gather with The Salvation Army, friends, neighbors, and Lansing Mayor Mayor Andy Schor next Tuesday ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. For more information about The Salvation Army, please call 517-484-4424, or visit us at SALansing.org.
