KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A man is in custody after police surrounded a home in the Edison neighborhood.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the 14,000 block of Stockbridge Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday searching for a wanted man possibly armed with a weapon.
There were reports of a large police presence in the area and officers calling for the suspect to come outside.
Several hours later the man surrendered peacefully and was booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail.
No further details were released.
