(MATTESON TOWNSHIP) – The Branch County Sheriffs Department has confirmed following an autopsy that the body found in a wooded grove in a farmer’s field along Parham Road north of Lindley Road on Friday was 40 year old Brad Alan Washburn of Bronson who had been reported as missing in early March.The body was discovered by a Farmer who was tilling the land.
The preliminary report from the autopsy showed that Washburn died from hypothermia due to exposure.
Toxicology reports are to follow at a later time.
Washburn’s vehicle was found along Parham Road back February 21st stuck in the ditch, about 130 yards from where he was found on Friday. This incident remains under investigation.
