YANKEE SPRINGS TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Barry County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after discovering a body near the water in Yankee Springs Township.
First responders were called to the area near Upton Trail and Kiser Road just after midnight on Mondayafter a call of man not breathing.
Deputies say that 70-year-old David Neeson was found submerged in the water by a relative who said he did not return home after fishing that afternoon.
Attempts to revive Neeson were unsuccessful and no further details of the investigation were released.
