KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Videos of discolored water in Kalamazoo are causing concern online.
A city official says the water supply is from an aquifer that is high in minerals like iron and can become discolored during infrastructure improvements.
The city says the water is safe and add the issue can be resolved by flushing household pipes.
One TikTok video on the issue has been seen over two-million times.
