KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officials say citizen tips allowed them to arrest a 23-year-old Kalamazoo man on multiple firearms related charges, after the report of gunshots around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday near Greenleaf Circle.
When officers arrrived, a witness was able to give a vehicle description from where the shots came from. Officers located the vehicle and a subject in the immediate area who was armed with an unregistered pistol.
According to a news release from KDPS, “Instances like this continue serve to affirm that Public Safety and the community are partners in resolving crime.”
