KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Public Safety officers are investigating after a shooting on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Authorities were reported hearing gunshots in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and received a call moments later that a victim had been shot.
The 21-year-old Kalamazoo man was rushed to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg and later released.
Investigators believe the suspect fired at the victim outside of the home and then continued firing into the residence.
Officers are still searching for the shooter.
