KEELER TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Deputies have released the name of the 23-year-old Hartford man who died in a rollover crash in Keeler Township just over a week ago.
They say that Adam Lee Hess was headed eastbound on County Road 362 last Wednesday evening and may have been speeding when he lost control and rolled his vehicle several times on the side of the road.
He was ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries.
They found both marijuana and traces of alcohol in his system, but not enough to say it was a factor in the crash.
They say that speed and the fact that he was not wearing a seatbelt were likely much larger factors in Hess’s death.
