BATH, MI — Three people have died in a small plane crash in Bath Township, according to township officials. Police say the crash occurred at around 5:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Clark Road and Peacock Road. A pilot and two passengers were confirmed to be aboard the plane. Police say all three have been confirmed deceased.
Bath Township police and fire, alongside Laingsburg and DeWitt agencies responded. At this time, police do not know why the aircraft crashed or what its intended destination was. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
