LANSING, MI — If you noticed white on the rooftops across mid-Michigan this morning, you weren’t seeing things. We saw our our first light frost of the year. National Weather Service late Wednesday posted a Freeze Warning into Thursday morning for Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties.
Temperatures in the Lansing area bottomed out around 33′ early Thursday morning, according to the airport in Lansing. Temps tonight again could drop to the mid 30s, according to NWS.
Floral experts say if you have some annual plants that you want to protect, its best to move them into the garage the next few nights to be safe, or take some old sheets to cover outdoor flowers and vegetable plants.
