KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is releasing the name of the victim killed in a rear-end crash Wednesday evening.
28-year-old Kevin AJ Alleshouse of White Pigeon slammed into the back of a truck parked in the turning lane in the 3800 block of Stadium Drive around 7 p.m., went into cardiac arrest, and died.
Sources say that’s not the first time the auto-dealerships along Stadium have used the public right of way to park and unload trucks carrying new cars.
And Public Safety Captain Matt Huber said the parked truck should have never been there.
Investigators are waiting for autopsy and toxicology reports on Alleshouse.
The dealerships and the trucking firm aren’t talking to the media about the incident.
