KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A 28-year old man from Kalamazoo, who was already wanted on a felony warrant is facing a whole new list of charges after he was confronted by Public Safety near the SoHo Apartments on Howard Street at 3:20 Friday afternoon.
Public Safety got a call about a suspicious person, and that report turned out to be correct. Not only was the suspect armed with a handgun, but a search of his person, vehicle and residence turned up marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin.
Detectives will be seeking additional warrants for gun and drug charges.
