LAKESHORE (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan DEQ says Sunday is an Ozone Action day in parts of West Michigan, because of the excessive heat and humidity.
Airborne pollutants could be in the unhealthy range for sensitive groups and residents with respiratory issues.
Impacted counties include Ottawa, Kent, Allegan and Van Buren.
Residents are asked to refrain from refueling vehicles, using gasoline powered lawn equipment and using charcoal lighter fluid during the day.
