KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officials are looking for a known suspect after a stabbing in the Vine Neighborhood.
Authorities were dispatched to the 500 block of West Cedar Street around 12:30 a.m. Thursday to find a 34-year-old woman with a non life-threatening stab wound to her side.
She received first aid and was able to tell officers that the two had been arguing before it got out of hand.
The suspect stabbed her, fled on foot, and is still at large.
Officers deployed K-9’s but the rainy weather made tracking impossible.
