OSHTEMO (WKZO AM/FM) — A fire in Oshtemo is under investigation as a possible arson.
Neighbors in the Colonial Manor Mobile Home Park say a man may have torched a mobile home with a gas bomb Sunday around noon because of a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Kalamazoo County authorities are only saying at this point that the fire appears to be suspicious.
The neighbors report hearing an argument and then an explosion and saw smoke coming from the mobile home in the 5500 block of Blindmans Cove.
The home suffered extensive interior damage.
There were no injuries but the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office and the Oshtemo Fire Department are still looking for more details.
