KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo teen who was visiting one of the townhouses at the Interfaith Homes complex is in critical condition after she was shot just after 10am Wednesday morning.
Its not clear if the shooting was intentional, accidental or otherwise.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Detectives hope she will able to give them information about the shooting that others who were at the Town House have been reluctant to talk about.
They are also going thru surveillance tapes from the security system at the complex to try and identify the gunman.
The 18-year-old victim was shot in the hip, and soon after transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.
No names have been released and as far as we know, no arrests have been made.
