DELTON (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan State Police say a runaway teen has been found safe.
14-year-old Tayler Beard was last seen Monday afternoon at her home on South Grove Street in Delton after she was arrested for shoplifting at the Walmart in Kalamazoo.
She then ran away leaving a Facebook post saying she was headed out of state with a friend that no one knows, and that she does not want to be found.
Family members say Beard was recently hospitalized following an attempt to harm herself and they were fearful that she was in danger.
Luckily officials say the teen was found safe in the Lansing area.
