LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Powerball jackpot has increased for tonight’s drawing, giving players a shot at a whopping $1.4 billion! The cash option for the jackpot is $634.3 million.
If a player wins the jackpot, it would be the fourth largest Powerball jackpot ever won and the sixth largest jackpot in U.S. Lottery history. Tonight’s drawing will be the 41st drawing since the jackpot was last won on May 31 when one ticket purchased in California won the $204.5 million jackpot.
Since the Powerball jackpot run began June 2, Michigan Lottery players have won more than $9 million in prizes, including three $1 million prizes.
The Powerball jackpot was last won in Michigan on Jan. 1, 2024, by a Mid-Michigan lottery club. The club won a $842.4 million Powerball jackpot with a ticket purchased in Grand Blanc. That jackpot is the largest Powerball prize ever won in Michigan.
You have until 9:45 tonight to buy your tickets.
